Here be Da New Giant Sedona DX Bikes as photographed by an unknown tourist at the Taggart Lake Trailhead. We made a deal with the Dornan's Bike Shop that we would sign a rental agreement and then they would tear it up if we decided to buy the bikes. That way we had over 8 miles of blissful riding to decide if we wanted them or not. Susun climbed the hill on the main moraine better than she's ever climbed a hill while riding a bike. She kept raving about the bike. Frankly, it's THE most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. For the first time in longer than I can remember my right wrist didn't hurt and/or my right arm didn't go to sleep. They are a true joy to ride. Dornan's buys a substantial fleet of various new bikes each spring and rents them out all summer. Then they sell them for 50% off each fall. We've looked at their bikes each year but were unable to find a matched pair until this year. Susun has a medium frame and I have a small frame--the last one they had available. They are 24-speeds with really cool index shifting and an adjustable front fork shock.
Click here for the Giant webpage on the bicycle. Basically, they are the Lay-Z-Boy Recliner of bicycles. We are very pleased with them. Below are the full specs on the bike for you gearheads.
