Last night, Susun enjoyed a traditional fun family experience--shopping for a Christmas Tree. Mom Sarah asked her Dad, Craig, to join the Family Expedition so that, as Sarah said, "I could take my parents tree shopping while the boys shop with their parents." (NOTE: Sarah's iPhone doesn't do too well with night shots but, hey, it's the thought that counts--not the photo quality.) We're pretty sure most everyone can recall tree shopping with their parents. It was easily one of the most memorable moments of early childhood. Perhaps it was the pine scent, maybe the sticky sap or maybe all that green and people hustling and bustling hither and yon. Shopping for a tree meant that Christmas was finally, really getting ready to happen. And who can't recall thinking of all the presents that would soon be sitting under a brightly-lit, fully decked tree?
This was the Grandsons' first foray into The Christmas Tree shopping experience. For them, it's the beginning of their Christmas Continuum. Many Thanks to Mom Sarah for planning such a special and memorable event for her sons and Family.
